1MINDSET …We are two best friends with 1MINDSET. We grew up on opposite sides of the state, never knowing each other until our paths crossed as teammates in the Rutgers University women’s soccer program. Although we took different paths in our recruiting process, we ended up in the same place and discovered we had similar values and a shared mindset. Through conversations - on the bus during road trips, over dinner at team meals, or while hanging out in the house we shared with 8 other teammates - we learned that we both had a pride and passion for the game of soccer, the determination and perseverance to give our all to the sport, and the heart and fortitude to get us through even the toughest of times, both on and off the field. Though we didn’t know it at the time, those shared core values - our 1MINDSET - would be the basis of a future business partnership.

In the beginning...We were both fortunate to come from stellar youth careers that were heavily influenced by our environment, family, coaches, mentors and teammates. From club teams to olympic development to playing semi-pro, we grew as players and as people. Who we are and how we are built is a credit to our demanding, inspiring, and hard-working families and coaches, and was the foundation of our 1MINDSET mentality. We could sit here and rattle off the championships we have won and the number of players we have coached that are playing in the Big East right now, but to know us and the way we are built, well, that’s not who we are, that’s not our Mindset. The process for us has always been pure. It’s been about leading and staying true- Authentic- to those fundamental values that flowed downstream from our parents and later our coaches.

Our philosophies continued to shape us through our experience at Rutgers as Division I student-athletes. Through wins, losses, coaching changes and injuries, we thrived and became leaders. Our pride, passion and determination for the sport and for success never wavered.

We then entered the “real world” and began careers in coaching. New positive influences came from our players, peers, co-workers and bosses. Although our careers veered in different directions and distance separated us at times, we continued our life journeys with the same drive and focus - the same 1MINDSET - as we did in our playing careers.

What we learned along the way was this: We are a product of our environment. Each coach we ever played for, each teammate we ever took the field with, each player we ever coached, has brought us to this point in time. Through all of our experiences - the good, the bad and the ugly - we learned important lessons about life, about sport, and about 1MINDSET.

We’ve played together, we’ve coached together, and now we are partners in business together, bringing what we’ve learned to you.

Our Vision...Twelve years of collaboration - in life, in work, on the field and off - have led us here.

We have a sincere passion and drive to develop young athletes. We are tired of talented players not being provided the right opportunities. We are tired of players not being developed to their fullest potential and the effects it has on the player and on the game. We have seen too many young females lack the confidence to believe they can compete at the highest level or whatever level they dream.

1MINDSET will be contributors to an athlete’s life journey, shapers of their mentality and supporters in times of fortitude. We will be their coach, their guidance counselor, their mentor, and their cheerleader. We are life coaches for their entire athletic journey.

We want to help young athletes sculpt and build their dreams and then reach them. Offer young athletes a multifaceted service to provide them with the necessary tools to guide them through their athletic career and beyond. Contributors to their overall athletic development, mind, body and soul. We devise plans then work the plans together to reach the defined objectives.

We do it the right way; honest and real athletic development, accomplished by upholding the highest standards while building on and maintaining our principles and integrity...OUR 1MINDSET.
